Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

Learn about keeping the sabbath day holy this week as you play charades.

1. Play charades and act out things you can do on Saturday to get ready for Sunday. Teach that the sabbath day is a delight and color the coloring page.
2. Explain that Sunday is a holy day. We can keep the sabbath day holy by doing activities that will bring us closer to the Savior. Play charades again this time acting out activities we can do on the Sabbath. Then make the sabbath day holy word wheel.
3. Hang a picture of Jesus on the wall. Turn out the lights and give everyone a tea candle light. Let them hold it up to the picture. Talk about how we can share the light of Christ with others. Sing along to the song “I Will Shine.“

Elementary Come Follow Me Activities

Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:

Read Isaiah 58:13-14 and talk about some of the things you do every day of the week except Sunday’s. Make the sabbath day mobile.

Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:

Read and discuss Isaiah 65:17-25. Then make the What will the millenium be like mini book to help them remember these scriptures.
