Let your family eat the cookies and when they realize the cookies don’t taste good, tell them that you told a little lie. You put salt in instead of sugar but you didn’t think it would matter. Discuss the consequences of lying. Finish the lesson by using the “chocolate chip cookies journaling.”

Create the “Christ Will Come Again Tree Craft.” For the winter branches you can use cotton balls or white paint. For spring use pink tissue paper for the spring blossoms. Discuss that just like there are signs for the changing seasons and there were signs for Christ’s birth and death, today there are signs for when He will come again.
