Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: In The Beginning God Created the Heaven and the Earth, a Come Follow Me 2022 lesson by Come Follow Me FHE

Talk about the creation. For each day act out something that was created. For example on the first day God created light and dark. Turn the lights on and off. After discussing each of the 7 days make the homemade finger paint and paint the “Creation Booklet.”

Simplified Come Follow Me Activity

Follow the instructions to make your Creation Mobile. You will need:scissors, glue, string, and crayons if you decide to color the black and white version. Use your mobile to discuss what God created on each day and what creations bring each family member joy.

DO IT ACTIVITY

This week as a family you get to make playdough creations. Follow the recipe in your materials to make playdough or use what you already have around your house. Talk about the creation as you sculpt objects from the creation. See your “Go and Do” activity page for 3 games you can play.

SURPRISE ACTIVITY:

As a family create the “Keep The Sabbath Day Holy Sticker Chart.” Cut out each sticker for your calendar. You can print these on sticker paper or use it as a cut and paste activity. Read Moses 3:2-3 and discuss what God did on the seventh day. Talk about what activities you do during the week and which are best for the sabbath day. Place the activities on the corresponding day of the week to complete your chart.

“Rebel Not Ye against the Lord, Neither Fear”

Moses did not have an easy time being the Israelite’s prophet. From constant squabbles amongst the people to outright apostasy against the Lord, there was plenty of drama he had to deal with. As a prophet, Moses knew what the Israelites could be if they stayed faithful. He told Joshua it would be less of a struggle if everyone could see what the Lord had shown him: “would God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!” (Numbers 11:29).
