No family is perfect. Not every situation includes two loving parents and children who always are ready to obey. Realistically, our families might look like something far from that image. However, through the teachings of modern prophets, we know the Lord wouldn’t have it any other way. As the Book of Mormon was being translated, there must have been so much new information that Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery read from the gold plates: prayer, baptism, and the atonement of Christ to name just a few.
