  1. Sing the song “I Believe in Being Honest” (Children’s Songbook pg. 149). Then read 2 Corinthians 4:1-2. Teach your children about what it means to be honest. You can also use the 13th Article of Faith. Then complete the coloring page.
  2. Make the puppets before you begin your lesson. Read 2 Corinthians 2:5-11. Use the puppets to tell the story. After the story explain to your family the importance of forgiving others when they hurt our feelings and saying sorry when you hurt someone else’s feelings. Let your children make their own puppets after the lesson.
  3. Read 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. Gather about 3 items that bring your child comfort. Talk to your children about how these items bring them comfort. “The Lord Is My Shepherd”

In modern times, the Lord declared “the song of the heart is a prayer unto me” (Doctrine and Covenants 25:12). Job gave thanks to God for his blessings, but even when nearly every blessing was taken away, he did not lessen his faith. Instead, as those around him said his faith had been a waste of time, Job showed his trust in the Lord by exercising Christlike patience and long suffering. Eventually, Job’s faith was rewarded, and his trust in God was justified.
