This week includes a fun activity with Marshmallows. This activity is a great object lesson to teach about patience. We also created the coloring page to center around patience.
The other main focus for this week is the first vision. In your materials we have provided story sticks to teach about Joseph Smith. Use the fill in the blank page bible print for the scripture in James chapter 1 verse 5.
One of the bonus activities includes learning about kindness. Complete the kindness coloring page and create your kindness jar to collect the acts of kinds your family completes all week.

God knew the purpose of His creation before He began His work. As He told Moses, “This is my work and my glory—to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man (Moses 1:39). That purpose is the “why” for everything God does, including why He loves each of us.
The Old Testament contains the earliest records of the prophets. Through their words, we learn of Jesus Christ’s role in creating the world and His purpose in doing so. We discover how faith in Christ, obedience, sacrifice, and love help us endure all things.
The Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ renewed the truth that Christ was born to save all mankind. Through His mortal ministry, His suffering in Gethsemane and on the cross, His ministry in the Spirit World, and His resurrection, He offers healing to all our sorrows and pains. What greater gift could we be given than that?
