SURPRISE ACTIVITY:

Read Doctrine and Covenants 29:36-50. To help your children understand why we need the atonement use the “Atonement Balloon Object Lesson.” Sin is like popping a balloon with a push pin. But because of the atonement we have been given the gift of repentance. Use the object lesson instructions to use a push pin on a balloon and not have it pop.

Because of this, “there was great joy” during the Passover in Jerusalem as the people grew closer together in worship (2 Chronicles 30:26).

“He Trusted in the Lord God of Israel”

Josiah was a righteous king of Judah.
