SURPRISE ACTIVITY:

Read Doctrine and Covenants 29:36-50. To help your children understand why we need the atonement use the “Atonement Balloon Object Lesson.” Sin is like popping a balloon with a push pin. But because of the atonement we have been given the gift of repentance. Use the object lesson instructions to use a push pin on a balloon and not have it pop.

He grieves for each one of us when our choices take us away from Him.

“Teach These Things Freely unto Your Children”

From the very beginning, the gospel of Jesus Christ was taught by prophets to help families find peace in the world and obtain the promise of being together forever. Eve said without the pain that had happened in her life, she “never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth” (Moses 5:11).
