Week 18 | April 25 - May 1

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

The toddler lessons this week includes 3 fun activities to help your family learn about keeping the commandments.

  1. Teach about Moses seeing God and receiving the 10 commandments. Complete the coloring and activity page to help explain that Heavenly Father and Jesus have a body like us.
  2. Read some of the commandments in Exodus 20. Then play the “Obeying The Commandments Keeps Me on the Right Track Activity.”
  3. Create 2 tables of stone out of salt dough, like the tables of stone that Moses wrote the ten commandments on.

Elementary Come Follow Me Activities

Summary of this week’s Go & Do family activity:

Learn about the sabbath day by reading Exodus 31:13, 17 and Sabbath Day Observance in For The Strength of Youth. play the sabbath day scoops game and enjoy eating ice cream as you discuss what keeping the sabbath day holy looks like in your family.

Summary of this week’s surprise activity:

Review what you’ve learned this week by making the word wheel and talking about what the Lord says about the sabbath day. Then review the story in Exodus 35 about the Israelites and make a CTR shield. List things you can do to choose the right.

“Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of the Lord”

The phrase, “found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Moses 8:27), has at least two meanings that can bless our families. One is that Noah lived in a way that allowed the Lord to strengthen him and his family during difficult circumstances. A second meaning is that Noah discovered the peace that comes from looking at life through God’s eyes. By looking at life with an eternal perspective, Noah “walked with God, as did also his three sons” (Moses 8:27) even in a world filled with wickedness.
