Come Follow Me Lessons & Activities for Kids Lesson 19 | May 4-10 | Numbers 11-14; 20-24; 27

Moses did not have an easy time being the Israelite’s prophet. From constant squabbles amongst the people to outright apostasy against the Lord, there was plenty of drama he had to deal with. As a prophet, Moses knew what the Israelites could be if they stayed faithful. He told Joshua it would be less of a struggle if everyone could see what the Lord had shown him: “would God that all the Lord’s people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!” (Numbers 11:29).
Raising children in modern times may feel like leading the Israelites through the wilderness. It would be great if they could see their potential as we, their parents, do. Just as the Lord’s people had to be taught faith and the blessings of obedience, we must teach our children to have faith and to follow Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we begin to see who we truly are and who we can become.

Elementary Bundle Lessons & Activities
We have some great activities and resources to help assist you in celebrating a Christ-centered Easter this year! We recommend picking the activities that work best for you and your family. We think just a few activities will allow you to celebrate Easter, but also allow you time to focus on our Savior and what He has done for us. Our hope is that you will find something meaningful for your family to help celebrate this special holiday!
Tree of Life Exercise
Hands-On Activity
Help your family understand that we can choose Heavenly Father’s will, even when others try to distract us from following Him, with this Tree of Life exercise. Read Numbers 22-24, focusing on Numbers 22:1-18; 23:26, and 24:13. Then, follow the instructions.

Gratitude Game
Surprise Activity
This week’s activity will help your family focus on your blessings and encourage gratitude through the Gratitude Game. Remind your family about the story of the Israelites receiving manna and how they reacted after eating it for so long. Then, read Numbers 11:4-10 and discuss what lessons we can learn from their experience.

Look to God
Coloring Activity
Read Numbers 21:4-9 as a family. To deepen your understanding of this story, we recommend also studying 1 Nephi 17:40-41, Alma 33:18-22, and Helaman 8:13-15. These passages will help clarify the message and its relevance. Afterward, color the “Look to God and Live” coloring page. As you color, discuss ways you can look to God for guidance and strength in your own lives.

Toddler Bundle Lessons & Activities
For kids ages 1-4 at home and in nursery or sunbeams.
Blossoms of Thankfulness
Family Activity
Give your child a few small snacks and ask them to share one with you. Tell your child, “Thank you.” Explain that it’s important for us to always be thankful. We are thankful when someone helps us or shares something with us, and we are thankful to Heavenly Father for blessing us each day. Explain that the people of Israel were not thankful for what they had been blessed with (see Numbers 11:4-10). We can always be thankful for our blessings. With your child, complete the Blossoms of Thankfulness Tree. Write things your family is thankful for on the blossoms and attach them to the tree.

The toddler bundle includes a lesson plan and three activities every week. Grab the toddler bundle in our subscription.
