We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
- Listen to the song “My Body is a Temple.” Hand out the coloring page and read 1 Corinthians 16:19. Let your children circle the items that are good for your body.
- Use 11 small sticky notes to spell out “Jesus Christ” and put them on blocks. Use the blocks to build a firm foundation or tower. Make it able to support a doll or toy figure on top. Once you get your tower built read 1 Corinthians 3:10-11. Then place the toy on top and see if your foundation is firm. If your tower falls over than try again. Share a few ideas with your family on how you can build a firm foundation on Jesus Christ.
- Make the “My Body is Sacred Mini Book.” As you read it have your children point to each body part. Read together the scriptures on the last page. Help your family understand that their body is special because Heavenly Father and Jesus created it. Then play the strike a pose game with your family.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity
Read 1 Corinthians 2:11-14 and teach your family that the Holy Ghost teaches us truth. Use The Holy Ghost Stoplight to help your children understand the roles of the Holy Ghost. Then use q-tips and let your children paint the stoplight.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity
Help your children learn more about the sacredness of their bodies with the My Body is Sacred Mini Book. Reference what the scriptures say about our bodies in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 and refer to the For The Strength of Youth Guide section titled “Your Body is Sacred.”
