We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
- Before the lesson, wrap a small gift with a picture or item representing spiritual gifts your children have. Teach that faithful members of the church have at least one spiritual gift. Learn about spiritual gifts in the library app and by reading 1 Corinthians 12:4, 7-12. Open the present and explain the spiritual gifts for each child. Then let your children color the coloring page.
- Read 1 Corinthians 13:13 and Moroni 7:47 about charity. Charity is the pure love of Christ. He loved everyone, even those who crucified him. How can we show others that we love them. Complete the dot pages with stickers, dry cereal or small candies. End with singing together “Love One Another” (Children’s Songbook pg. 136).
- For extra fun with this lesson you may want to add this CTR cookie cutter for your child to use in playdough. As your child plays with playdough, talk about what it means to choose the right. Teach them that Satan tries to tempt us to make wrong choices but God is on our side and will help us when we’re tempted. Read 1 Corinthians 10:13. Sing the song “I’m Trying To Be Like Jesus” while you clean up.”

Summary of this week’s Go & Do Family Activity
Read 1 Corinthians 10:1-13. Discuss ways Heavenly Father helps us to escape temptation. Play CTR dodgeball and/or use the temptation scenarios.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity
Read 1 Corinthians 11:23-29 with your family and talk about the sacrament. Use the sacrament bundle to help your children focus on this special ordinance at home or take it to church to use during the sacrament.
