This is the first lesson for our Book of Mormon study! We hope you are just as excited as we are! Begin the lesson by reading the introductory page in the Book of Mormon. A fun way to keep everyone engaged is by doing popcorn reading. This means one member of the family reads a few sentences and then calls on another family member. This weeks lessons is “God is Love.” Start your lesson by reading John 13:23 and 20:2. It talks about John’s experience feeling the Savior’s love. One way we can show the Savior that we love him is by keeping the commandments. Print and hang the God Is Love tree. This can be hung in your home all month long. Let everyone put an ornament on the tree and read what it says aloud.
In your bundle this week we have provide three teaching posters. These were meant to be simple enough that a child could read the story on the back of the picture and teach the family.
