June 12 – June 18 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: Not My Will, but Thine, Be Done

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

  1. Watch the “Gethsemane” music video and read or summarize Luke 22:39-46. Explain to your family that Jesus suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. Let them color the coloring page as you listen to the song again.
  2. Use the Gethsemane sticker scene to help your children come to know and understand more about the Atonement. Teach them things like Jesus was alone, Jesus prayed, Jesus suffered the Atonement. Jesus performed the Atonement so that we can be forgiven and return to Heaven some day.
  3. Teach your family “A Prayer Song” (Children’s Songbook page 22a). Practice each step together. End the lesson with a family prayer. Practice these steps throughout the week to teach your toddler how to pray reverently.
