We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
- Review the teachings of the Savior at the Last Supper. Use the coloring page as reference and let your children make things out of playdough to represent each teaching as you read John 14-17. Clean up the play dough and color the coloring page.
- Read John 17:3 and explain that we can have eternal life if we know and follow Heavenly Father and Jesus. Talk about ways your family can remember Them. Make the eternal life mobile and hang it in their room as a reminder of what you’ve learned.
- Read John 14:15 and then invite your little ones to repeat it after you word by word. Cut out a heart and write “I love Jesus”. Let your child decorate it with any craft supplies you have on hand. Ex. stickers, sequins, buttons, etc. Hang it up to help them remember the scripture.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity
Read John 14-15 and keep track of how many times you hear the word love and commandments. Talk about why commandments and love are often used together. Discuss with your family how you can show Jesus you love Him by keeping the commandments. Give each child a 10 commandment print or sticker.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity
Read John 14:5-6 with your family. Talk about how Jesus is the way to return to Heavenly Father. Play the Jesus is the Way Board Game to help your children understand how Jesus is the way and how they can follow Him.
