We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
- As your children color the coloring page read John 13:1-17. Teach what it meant in Christ’s day to wash someone’s feet and why it was significant that he washed his apostles feet. Then wash your children’s feet one by one.
- Make the What is the Sacrament? Minibook and read it together. Then act out how we should behave and be reverent during the sacrament.
- Gather some simple shape items from around your house. Make sure to have a heart shaped item. Hold up each item letting your children name the shape. Leave the heart for last. Read John 13:34-35 about love. Make the clay fingerprint necklaces and let your children wear them all week to remind them of the importance to love one another like Jesus loves them.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity
Read John 13:34-35 and discuss how you can follow the commandment. Sing “Love One Another” and then do the Love One Another object lesson to help your family learn that as you love others your capacity to love will grow.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity
Learn the names of the Christ’s apostles with the flip book. Simply print, cut out, hole punch and slide onto a binder ring. This would also be a great resource for your church bag!
