We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
- Teach your family about the parable of the two sons in Matthew 21:28-32. You could have your family act out the parable to help engage the kids. Then color the coloring page and relate it to the story.
- Learn about Zacchaeus seeking the Lord in Luke 19:1-10. Then make binoculars and go on a hunt. When you find a picture read the sentence on the bottom. Talk about how each card is a way that we can seek the Lord.
- Show your family a picture of the temple. Talk about how temples are special and sacred. Read about when Jesus cleansed the temple in Matthew 21:12-14. Let the kids look at the picture of Jesus cleansing the temple and let them tell you what they see. Is Jesus happy or sad? Were the people doing good things or bad things in the temple? etc.

Make the Zacchaeus accordion foldable to help your family better understand the story in Luke 19:1-10. Talk about how Jesus loves everyone.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity
Read Matthew 21:12-14. Ask your children how they feel about the temple and how they can work on being worthy to enter the temple some day. Then play the temple matching game.
