Come Follow Me Lessons & Activities for Kids

Week 44 | October 24 - October 30

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

Feel of God’s love this week as you enjoy these activities.

  1. Have a discussion about temples and sing along to the song or video of “I Love to See the Temple.” Then make a temple out of marshmallows and toothpicks and color the coloring page.
  2. Talk about how the prophet is like a watchman on a watchtower. He can warn us of danger and lead and guide us. Play the Watchman on a Tower game.
  3. Go outside and gather items like flowers, leaves, pinecones, small rocks, etc. Explain that all these items are different but they were all created by Heavenly Father. All of Heavenly Father’s children are different but loved. We can help Him gather His children by loving everyone and spreading the gospel.

Elementary Come Follow Me Activities

Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:

Read Ezekiel 47:1-12 and listen for the blessings that come from the temple. Make your own temple with the printout and a tissue box.

Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:

A prophet is called to guide, direct and warn us. Become bird “watchman” by making a pair of binoculars with toilet paper rolls. As you find a bird read some of the guidance and warnings from our recent prophets.

“God Meant It unto Good”

Joseph’s forgiveness of his brothers did not come after they had paid restitution or offered an apology. He forgave them the moment he realized they had changed from their jealous ways when they offered themselves in place of Benjamin for punishment. How overwhelming it must have been for Joseph to see such love amongst his brothers. His forgiveness came with no strings attached: “be not grieved, nor angry with yourselves” (Genesis 45:5).
