The Field is White

I felt lost for much of my young life, struggling to understand my purpose and abilities as a daughter of God. When I felt impressed to serve a mission for the Lord, I discovered what true happiness really is. Teaching, seeking, and sharing truth with others helped me grasp my own purpose and changed the way I interacted with the world. I love the verse from D&C 62:3: “For the testimony which ye have borne is recorded in heaven for the angels to look upon; and they rejoice over you, and your sins are forgiven you.” The idea of angels recording our words of truth is absolutely beautiful, and knowing that our testimonies bring them joy is a wonderful reminder of the happiness we can experience in sharing those truths.
