Discuss how it is important that we open our mouths wide and share about the gospel. Talk about what blessings come to us and those we teach as we share the gospel. Create the “Wide Mouth Animals” as you finish your discussion.

Teach your family about the two greatest commandments. Use your index finger on one had as you talk about loving God with all your heart, might, mind, and strength. Then use your index finger on the other hand as you talk about loving your neighbor. Then bring your index fingers together and make a heart shape with your hand.

As a family make a small batch of chocolate chip cookies. Instead of putting in sugar put in salt but don’t tell your family. Let your family eat the cookies and when they realize the cookies don’t taste good, tell them that you told a little lie. You put salt in instead of sugar but you didn’t think it would matter. Discuss the consequences of lying. Finish the lesson by using the “chocolate chip cookies journaling.”
