Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
We can be a witness of Christ like the Shepherds
- Read John 1:1-2 and sing the song I Lived in Heaven with the song chart. Talk about how Jesus lived with God before He came to Earth and we did too as you color the coloring page.
- In John 1:1-3 we read about how Jesus created everything. Take a walk outside and point out all of the beautiful creations we enjoy. Give each child a seek and find bag and let them look for pictures of the Lord’s creations.
- Read John 1:4-5 together and talk about Jesus being the light. Just like a light helps us see in the dark, Jesus is our light by his example and teachings to guide us through life. Make a glow in the dark picture frame with a picture of Jesus.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:
Read John 1:4-10 and discuss who the light is. Then make the Light of the World craft together using mason jars, spray snow, and avery clear sticker labels.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:
Make the Who is John accordian book. Read the scriptures and talk about who John was, what he did, what he wrote, and where he is today.
