We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
Learn more about seeking the Lord this week with these fun activities
- Write a message to your child and let them try to read it. When they can’t help them out and tell them what it says. Explain that Heavenly Father gives us prophets and apostles to share messages with us. Color the coloring page as you learn a little bit about our current prophet and apostles.
- Read Amos 5:4, 14. Explain that seeking means to search and look for something. We can seek the Lord by saying prayers, reading scriptures, and keeping the commandments. Let your child seek for the Lord by finding the pictures on the wall with goggles made out of toilet paper rolls.
- Explain that when we do temple work we are saviours on “Mount Zion”. Build a mountain of pillows and blankets to sit on. Share your testimony of the importance of doing family history and temple work.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:
Read Amos 3:7 and 7:14-15 with your family. Discuss how prophets are called. You can refer to this week’s coloring page to learn more about our prophet and apostles. Make the prophet match book together.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:
As you read Amos 5:4-15 pay attention to what and who we should seek. Make a “seek the good” jar or bag and give everyone a turn to seek for the good things.
