August 1 – August 7 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: Yet Will I Trust in Him

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

This week learn about having faith and trust in the Lord like Job

1. Talk about what it means to trust someone. Job trusted that Jesus would do what was best for him even though he had many hard things happen to him. Color the coloring page while you sing or listen to the song “I Feel My Savior’s Love.”
2. Faith is believing in something even when we can’t see it. Read Job 13:1 and 42:5 then play the fun faith to hear and see game.
3. Job did not have good friends to help and comfort him. Discuss ways you can be a good friend. Make a treat and use one of the treat tags provided when you deliver it to a friend.

Elementary Come Follow Me Activities

Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:

Learn about the story of Job from the scriptures and talk about what faith is and how Job showed his faith. Make the accordian style story of Job to review and enjoy a fun treat as a family as you make and eat the faith pudding cups!

Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:

Use the Strong Tree Print as you talk about how God can strengthen you during trials and hard times. You can also read or listen to Spiritual Whirlwinds by Elder Neil L. Andersen.

Each week the Come Follow Me Teen Lesson includes 4 discussion questions, a challenge, QR code to a video made by experienced Seminary teachers, and a scripture print to print off and display.
