Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
This week we get to learn to be brave like Queen Esther.
- Tell the story of Queen Esther or watch the video. Make and decorate a crown with markers or stickers and color the coloring page as you talk about how you can be brave and valiant like Queen Esther.
- Use the paper dolls to help your child retell the story of Esther. Talk about how Esther was afraid to go before the King so she and her people fasted and prayed. Heavenly Father helped her be brave and she saved her people from being killed.
- Esther was an instrument in God’s hands and so can we. Discuss with your family what it means to be an instrument and what you can do to be an instrument in God’s hands. Then follow the directions in your lesson bundle to make a musical instrument.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:
After learning or reviewing the story of Esther, have fun decorating your Esther crown. You could use markers, glitter, sequins, markers, crayons, etc.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:
Read the poster story about Esther and hang up the picture. Place the Esther trait stars around the pictures. Fill in the blank stars with other traits you think of that describe Queen Esther. Let everyone have an Esther bookmark to help them remember to be like her.
