Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
Enjoy these activities this week as you learn about God’s great work.
- Just like we need tools to build a house, God gave Nehemiah tools (or people to help him) build a wall around the city. As you color the coloring page talk about ways God has helped you accomplish a great work.
- When the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed the people were sad. After they rebuilt it they sang and shouted for joy. Our temples are holy places where we can feel joy. Play the musical march game and talk about how each place is holy.
- In Nehemiah 8 the people liked to listen to Ezra read the scriptures. The scriptures teach us about Jesus. Make a fun scripture scroll craft. Let everyone draw a picture of their favorite scripture story on their scroll and share with the family.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:
In Ezra 3:8-13 we read about the people being so excited about building a temple. Make the 3D temple as you talk about the joy you can find in seeing and going to the temple.
Summary of this week’s Surprise Activity:
Build the tool box as you talk about how the Lord helps us do His work. Talk about how you can use each tool to help you do the work God has asked you to do.
