Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
Show your child an object or picture that reminds you of someone you love. Explain that when you see this object you remember your loved one. Next, show your child a picture of the sacrament. Explain that when we take the sacrament we are remembering Jesus. We remember his teachings, that He died and was resurrected, and that He loves us. Color the coloring page together. Then watch “Gethsemane” by scanning the QR code on your lesson plan page. Share your testimony that we can remember Jesus when we partake of the sacrament.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
CREATE IT ACTIVITY:
Learn about The Passover with our “paper plate sheep craft.” Read Exodus 11:5-66 and 12:1-13. Then use the interactive sacrament trays with bread and water and talk about the sacrament.
SURPRISE ACTIVITY:
Review the plagues in Egypt (Exodus 7-11) with our 10 plagues of Egypt felt board story. Print and cut out the pictures, then glue to felt for a felt board or magnets for the fridge. Have the kids use the pictures as they follow along or quiz them at the end to see how much they remember.
