We have multiple Come Follow Me subscriptions and multiple activities in each subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help achieve our goal.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
Tell your child about a time when you prayed for help. Explain that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers because He loves us. Read Exodus 6:6-7 and explain to your family that the Israelites prayed to Heavenly Father for help to be freed from bondage. Heavenly Father heard their prayers and He sent the prophet Moses to free the people. Complete the I Can Pray wheel and talk about times that we can pray for help. Share your testimony that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
CREATE IT ACTIVITY:
Make the Moses story wheel and use it to learn or review the story of Moses and the burning bush. Then make the fun burning bush craft. Discuss what happened to Moses and how he trusted and listened to the Lord.
STUDY IT ACTIVITY:
Have you used our new FAST (Fun, Awesome Scripture Time) activities? Not only do you get to study the scriptures but you can do a fun activity with that scripture. This week one of the FAST scriptures is Exodus 3:14. Read the scripture and pay attention to when the Lord says, “I AM THAT I AM.” Look at the footnote to help you understand. Take a piece of paper (black construction paper works best, but white also works) and write “I AM THAT I AM” or “Jehovah.” Give each child a pin and let them poke holes along the letters. (This is easiest if you poke it on a carpeted floor). Then hold it up to the window to see the light shine through.
