We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

Get Toddler Lesson

1 Timothy 3:1-2 and Titus 1:7-9 teach us about our Bishop. As a family discuss the responsibilities of the Bishop. Let your child color the coloring page. As they do help them think of a time they have interacted with the Bishop.
Read 1 Timothy 4:12 and have your kids repeat it after you. Then make a necklace with the pendant. Add Fruit Loops or bead to a string with the pendant. As you make the necklaces help your children think of ways they can be a believer of Christ.
Before the lesson hide the Bible and Book of Mormon somewhere in your house. Read 2 Timothy 3:14-17 and have your kids guess what they will be seeking for. Let them find the scriptures. Then have someone else hide them and keep playing until they are no longer interested in the game.

Summary of this week’s Go & Do Family Activity

Read 2 Timothy 3 and help your family understand the importance of living the gospel to help protect them from danger. Then do the Staying Afloat Object lesson.

Summary of this week’s Scripture Study Activity

Read 1 Timothy 6:7-12 and discuss what you read. Help your children understand that eternal things will last forever but worldly things, like money, will not last forever and will lose it’s value. Use the “Eternal things are more valuable than money” jack o’lantern to help your family understand the verses.

“Comfort Ye My People”

There are stages in life that feel like they go on forever, especially in parenthood: sleepless nights helping kids stay in their own beds, potty training for weeks unending, and running to and from after-school activities. While the privilege of being a parent is a blessing, it can be exhausting just trying to keep up every day. Isaiah taught that when we feel like we have nothing left in us, we should rely on the Lord to give us strength (Isiah 40:29). After all, are we not caring for His children?

“A Marvellous Work and a Wonder”

One could look at the work being done by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints today and describe it as “marvelous” and a “wonder” (Isaiah 29:14). With temples across the world, missionaries on nearly every continent, and millions of suffering people relieved by Church aid, it truly is impressive. Yet Isaiah marveled not at the Church itself, but at the healing power of Jesus Christ in the hearts of so many of God’s children. It’s not the temples themselves that are a wonder, but the eternal covenants made inside. It’s not the number of missionaries serving that is a marvelous work, but the individual souls who are being taught by each sister and elder. It’s not the exact dollar amount spent on humanitarian efforts that made Isaiah’s vision great, but the difference made in each life through kindness and giving in the Savior’s name.

“God is My Salvation”

Though the writings of Isaiah can be intimidating to study, we are encouraged to dive in and embrace this special part of the Old Testament. Isaiah is unique in that the entire book is written by him, as opposed to the historical texts we read earlier this year. Think about it: the word of the Lord straight from the mouth of an ancient prophet in your own home.
