Be Thou an Example of the Believers

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

1. 1 Timothy 3:1-2 and Titus 1:7-9 teach us about our Bishop. As a family discuss the responsibilities of the Bishop. Let your child color the coloring page. As they do help them think of a time they have interacted with the Bishop.
2. Read 1 Timothy 4:12 and have your kids repeat it after you. Then make a necklace with the pendant. Add Fruit Loops or bead to a string with the pendant. As you make the necklaces help your children think of ways they can be a believer of Christ.
3. Before the lesson hide the Bible and Book of Mormon somewhere in your house. Read 2 Timothy 3:14-17 and have your kids guess what they will be seeking for. Let them find the scriptures. Then have someone else hide them and keep playing until they are no longer interested in the game.

Elementary Come Follow Me Activities

Summary of this week’s Go & Do Family Activity

Read 2 Timothy 3 and help your family understand the importance of living the gospel to help protect them from danger. Then do the Staying Afloat Object lesson.

Summary of this week’s Scripture Study Activity

Read 1 Timothy 6:7-12 and discuss what you read. Help your children understand that eternal things will last forever but worldly things, like money, will not last forever and will lose it’s value. Use the “Eternal things are more valuable than money” jack o’lantern to help your family understand the verses.
