Come Follow Me Toddler Activity

Teach your family about shepherds watching over their flock of sheep. Read D&C 64:34-37. Scatter the sheep around the room and help Jesus gather the sheep together again. Explain that we are like the sheep. Jesus loves us and will keep us safe.

CREATE IT:

Read D&C 6:33-36. Use the “Fear Not Farm” to help children understand the law of the harvest. Have a discussion about planting seeds and reaping the reward. When we plant onion seeds we get onions. The same applies to us. If we do good works we will sow a good reward.

He commanded parents: “Thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way” (Deuteronomy 6:7). Integrating gospel conversations into daily activities helps our children guard against “forgetting the Lord” during times of ease and prosperity.
