New Testament – 2019

December 9 – December 15 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids, Glory, and Power, Be unto…the Lamb for Ever

This week is going to be so much fun! We are going to have a party! Before the lesson be sure to read Revelations 1-11 and ponder on what it is teaching. You may feel inspired to summarize some of the main ideas you learn about in your study with your family. You’ll also want to prepare for the activities in this lesson ahead of time.

December 2 – December 8 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids, God Is Love

This weeks lessons is “God is Love.” Start your lesson by reading John 13:23 and 20:2. It talks about John’s experience feeling the Savior’s love. One way we can show the Savior that we love him is by keeping the commandments. Print and hang the God Is Love tree. This can be hung in your home all month long. Let everyone put an ornament on the tree and read what it says aloud.

November 4 – November 10 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids, Jesus Christ, “the Author of Eternal Salvation”

The scriptures that will be studied this week are Hebrews chapters 1-6. This week is a little bit different. As a family (or individually) you will be building a ladder to Christ. Follow the instructions and each day complete the reading, do the activity, add the step on your ladder, discuss the topic and sing the song below that aligns with the day.

October 21 – October 27 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids, Be Not Soon Shaken in Mind, or Be Troubled

This week we get to talk about the second coming! We recommend reading the bible verses in the manual on page 163 as you learn together. We have provided a poster to help teach and facilitate a family discussion. You can even use the black and white version as a coloring page to keep their hands busy while you read the verses. Remember hands on = minds on. Display the poster in your home all week as a reminder of what you have learned.
