We’re finishing up with Revelations chapters 12-22. The bible teaches us that good will prevail over evil. Read about the war in heaven in Revelations 12:7-17 and teach how it still continues on Earth today.
We look forward to the Christmas lesson all year and now it’s here! Read or summarize the story of Christ’s birth from Matthew and Luke. Study the picture in the manual and imagine what it was like when Christ was born.
This weeks lessons is “God is Love.” Start your lesson by reading John 13:23 and 20:2. It talks about John’s experience feeling the Savior’s love. One way we can show the Savior that we love him is by keeping the commandments. Print and hang the God Is Love tree. This can be hung in your home all month long. Let everyone put an ornament on the tree and read what it says aloud.

In your bundle this week we have provide three teaching posters. These were meant to be simple enough that a child could read the story on the back of the picture and teach the family.
This week includes a fun activity with Marshmallows. This activity is a great object lesson to teach about patience. We also created the coloring page to center around patience.
This week’s lessons is a great opportunity to learn and teach about Faith. In Hebrews 11 we get to read about some great people who were examples of having faith. Use the cute finger puppets as you read or summarize the story of each person.
The scriptures that will be studied this week are Hebrews chapters 1-6. This week is a little bit different. As a family (or individually) you will be building a ladder to Christ. Follow the instructions and each day complete the reading, do the activity, add the step on your ladder, discuss the topic and sing the song below that aligns with the day.
The past few lessons have been epistles from Paul to all of the saints. This week we are reading in 1 and 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon and get to study the words of Paul to individuals who were leaders of the church. Read the introductory paragraph on page 166 in the manual to expound on this.
This week we get to talk about the second coming! We recommend reading the bible verses in the manual on page 163 as you learn together. We have provided a poster to help teach and facilitate a family discussion. You can even use the black and white version as a coloring page to keep their hands busy while you read the verses. Remember hands on = minds on. Display the poster in your home all week as a reminder of what you have learned.
