One of those who heard King Benjamin’s speech was a man named Ammon, who found the people of Limhi deep inside the lands of the Lamanites. Because he listened to the prophet’s voice, he was able to share the gospel with an entire kingdom of lost Nephites! Just like Ammon, we can also treasure up the words of God’s prophets and bring light to those who need to know God loves them.

Scripture Study
In Mosiah 7:19 we read that God helped lots of people in the scriptures. That means he can help you too! “Break the Code” in the lesson and talk about or share experiences of when God has helped you or your family.
Zeniff’s Challenges
Go & Do Activity
Introduce the story of Zeniff and his people to your family. Then use the “Personal Challenge” cards to complete the challenges from the lesson. Read and discuss Mosiah 9:14-18; 10:10-11. What are some areas in your family’s life where you are surrounded by things that could cause you harm? Talk about how you can be prepared for any attack that might come. See lesson for details.
A-maze-ing Scriptures!
Surprise Activity
As a family, read Mosiah 8:5-12 together about the 24 Jaredite plates that Limhi and his people found. Then have fun doing the mazes to help them find the plates. There is a harder maze for older children and an easier maze for younger children.

Toddler Bundle Lessons & Activities
For kids ages 1-4 at home and in nursery or sunbeams. The toddler bundle Includes a full lesson plan with THREE activities that align with scripture written by an early childhood educator. These include a coloring page, another printable activity, and a movement activity that helps young children understand the scriptures. Here are a couple of highlights from this week’s lesson.
In the Strength of the Lord
Go & Do Activity
Prepare a nutritious snack in advance for your child and gather them to the table. Initiate a discussion about how to strengthen the muscles in our bodies by engaging in activities like exercise, consuming healthy foods, and even lifting weights. Emphasize the importance of caring for our bodies to promote strength and well-being. Introduce the concept that the scriptures also speak about strong individuals, not only in terms of physical strength but also in seeking strength from the Lord. Share the story of Ammon (Mosiah 7) with your child. After they finish their snack, set up a simple obstacle course using household items. Examples include walking and balancing on pillows, doing frog jumps through a zigzag line of cups, carrying books up stairs, and crawling under yarn between chairs. Place a picture of Jesus near the finish line and encourage your child to touch it and recite the scripture verse “In the strength of the Lord, we did go forth” from Mosiah 9:17. Allow them to repeat the obstacle course as desired.
