October 2 – October 8 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: For the Perfecting of the Saints

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

  1. Teach your toddler that mom and dad are their parents. The word parent may be a new word for your toddler. Read Ephesians 6:1-3 that talks about obeying your parents. As you color the coloring page listen to the song “Quickly I’ll Obey” (Children’s Songbook pg 197b)
  2. Have the boy and/or girl print out and stickers ready before the lesson. As you read Ephesians 6:10-18 invite your child to put on each piece of armor as they hear it read aloud. Stop and talk about the verses your feel are appropriate for your children or that you feel inspired to discuss further.
  3. In Ephesians 2:19-22, 3:1-7, 4:11-16 we learn about how Christ is the cornerstone of His church and we have a prophet and apostles on the Earth today. To teach all of the prophets use the Latter-day Prophet mini book and sing the song “Latter-day Prophets” (Children’s Songbook pg 134).
