We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.
Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
The activities this week will help your family learn to follow Jesus and share His light
- Read or summarize Luke 5:1-11 and Matthew 4:18-22. Teach what it means to do something “straightway” by giving your child a simple task like washing their hands. When they do it right away, praise them. Color the coloring page as you teach that the apostles left their nets straightway to follow Jesus.
- Read Matthew 4:1-11 and teach that we are all tempted by Satan to make wrong choices. We can resist temptation with help from Jesus. Sing Choose the Right Way (Children’s Songbook pg 160) and introduce the CTR chart. Print one for each child and give them a fun sticker to mark off the task each day after they complete it.
- In Luke 4:18-19 we read about how Jesus is our Savior. This means He saves us or helps us return to Heavenly Father. Role play ways we can help others. Ex. When someone is sad or sick.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Go and Do Family Activity:
Help your children understand that even Jesus suffered temptations. Read Matthew 4:1-11 and talk about how Jesus resisted temptations. He can help us resist temptations too. Play the Shielding Temptations by Choosing the Right Game.
Summary of this week’s Hands-On Learning Activity:
Read Matthew 4:1-5 and Luke 4:1-5. Talk about the definition of fasting. We give up something to work on our spiritual strength and ask for God’s help. Do the Fasting Fills Us Up Activity.

Each week the Come Follow Me Teen Lesson includes 4 discussion questions, a challenge, QR code to a video made by experienced Seminary teachers, and a scripture print to print off and display.
