September 5 – September 11 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: God Is My Salvation

We have multiple lessons for a variety of ages in our digital subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help families implement Come Follow Me in their home.

Toddler Come Follow Me Activity

Enjoy this week’s activities as you learn about temples, Christ being born, and Christ being a light in our lives.

  1. Walk around your house in the dark with a flashlight. Explain that Christ can be a light in our lives by comforting us and helping us stay safe. Color the coloring page that goes along with the scripture in Isaiah 2:5.
  2. Isaiah was a prophet that lived before Christ was born and he told the people that someday Jesus would be born to Mary. Make the nativity mobile as you tell the story of Christ’s birth.
  3. Make a mountain out of pillows and let your child climb to the top. In the old testament times Jesus would teach the prophet at the top of the mountain. Today the “top of the mountain” is the temple. Have a discussion about the importance of temples.
