Alma the Younger did much to destroy the church, which must have grieved his father. In our day, we are also sometimes too aware of the poor choices made by loved ones. Just like Alma the Elder, our prayers will be answered so long as we keep the faith and strive to love those who need our help. 

In this week’s lesson, your family will learn of the mighty change of heart that comes from faith in Jesus Christ. We’ll discover how the Lord will help our souls to be “pained no more” from our mistakes (Mosiah 27:29). Toddler Bundle Lessons & Activities​

For kids ages 1-4 at home and in nursery or sunbeams. The toddler bundle Includes a full lesson plan with THREE activities that align with scripture written by an early childhood educator. These include a coloring page, another printable activity, and a movement activity that helps young children understand the scriptures. Here are a couple of highlights from this week’s lesson.

Prayer Yoga

Go & Do Activity

As you read Mosiah 27:14, talk about how Alma prayed with a lot of faith and God heard his prayers. Heavenly Father recognizes prayers that are from the heart and He wants to help us with our problems because He loves us. Get your child moving this week with some PRAY alphabet yoga. Use the PRAY Yoga Cards to teach your child about prayer. Have your child follow the positions on the cards as you talk about each one. Then mix up the cards to play a game to the song “A Child’s Prayer” (Children’s Songbook, pg. 12). Show your child a card and have them hold the yoga pose for 10 seconds and then show a new card. Play the game for the duration of the song. Close your activity by sharing with your child how prayer has blessed your life or an experience where God answered your prayers.
