Toddler Come Follow Me Activity
The toddler lessons this week includes 3 fun activities to help your family learn about the temple.
- In the temples we learn about Jesus and are sealed as a family forever. The coloring page this week helps us remember that the spires on the temple point us to Jesus.
- Make binoculars out of toilet paper rolls and go on a “I Love To See The Temple Scavenger Hunt.”
- The Israelites used their talents to help build the tabernacle. Play charades to act out ways we can be helpful at home.
Elementary Come Follow Me Activities
Summary of this week’s Hands-on Learning Activity:
In Exodus 35 we learn about the offerings the people brought to the temple. Complete the temple and tabernacle puzzles as you talk about your children’s individual gifts and the offerings they can give to help build the Kingdom of God.
Summary of this week’s Surprise activity:
Compare how the people in ancient times make sacrifices and how we make sacrifices now by reading Leviticus 1:1-4 and 3 Nephi 9:19-20. The “Broken Heart Activity” and “Sacrifices for the Lord mini book” will help you learn about what it means to have a broken heart and contrite spirit.
