Look at the picture on page 81 of the Come Follow Me Manual for Individuals and Families. Have the kids talk about what they see in the picture. Explain that this week we are going to be learning about an angel coming to Alma the younger and calling him to repentance.
After you read about Alma the younger in the scriptures let each child make the Alma the Younger Conversion Story Wheel to help them summarize the story.
Explain that just like Alma was forgiven we can also be forgiven when we repent. Complete the steps of repentance activity and let each child make a repentance mobile.
After Alma the younger was forgiven he went on to be a missionary. Color the I Can Be a Missionary Now coloring page.
Use the Forgiveness Bridge Activity as a bonus lesson this week. complete the word scramble, print, and coloring page.
Other bonus activities this week include: scripture marking guides, Truths God Revealed to Alma activity, and watching the Book of Mormon video that goes along with the lesson this week.
