September 30 – October 13 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids, For the Perfecting of the Saints

Lesson 39 covers two weeks (Sept 30-Oct 13) due to General Conference. You can spread these activities out over two weeks, make up a lesson that you may not have gotten to during the year, or focus on what you learned from General Conference for the second week of this lesson.

We are studying and learning from the book of Ephesians this week. Our lesson bundle is focusing on the armor of God and preparing to listen to the Prophet.

Follow the summary sheet in your lesson bundle for a fun relay race in “putting on the armor of God.” You’ll also find a QR code in your bundle for a video about the armor of God. Afterwards use the dot page as you read in Ephesians about what the armor of God is. You can use dot stickers or dot pens to complete the activity page which are also linked with a QR code in your lesson bundle.

With General Conference coming up, now is a good time to prepare. Use the images of the prophet and apostles to discuss Christ being the chief cornerstone and the importance of following the prophet.

Other materials include tree diagrams to match scripture references to their verse and a get to know you game for your family to play.
