February 8 – February 14 Come Follow Me Lesson for Kids: Upon You My Fellow Servants

We have multiple Come Follow Me subscriptions and multiple activities in each subscription to help you find what works best for your family. Our goal is to help families come closer to Christ and we’ve worked really hard on providing more options to help achieve our goal.

Come Follow Me Toddler Activity

Place the picture of the boy or girl in a clear sheet protector or place it on the table and cover it with plastic wrap taping down the edges. Let the children finger paint with chocolate pudding. Teach that sometimes we make mistakes but we can become clean again through repentance. Wipe off the pudding with a damp cloth to symbolize becoming clean.

Simplified Come Follow Me Activity

Create the “Missionary Paper Dolls.” Let the children play with them while they listen to this week’s lesson. You can read the sections or listen to them online.

Standard Come Follow Me Activities

The Standard Activities includes the Simplified activity and more!

STUDY IT ACTIVITY:

Use the Church History Read Along to help your family study about how the Aaronic Priesthood was restored. Give your children time to asks any questions they may have about the Priesthood.

SURPRISE ACTIVITY:

Show different pictures of superheros and talk about what their special power is. Let the children use the “Priesthood Power Superhero Masks” and a towel or blanket as a cape to become superheros. Explain that the priesthood is the power of God. Discuss ways we use the priesthood.
