In Mosiah chapters 11-17 we learn about Abinadi. Before the lesson starts cut out the introduction puzzle and tape it over the picture for this week in the Come Follow Me for Individuals and Families Manual (page 73). To begin the lesson ask one person to remove a piece and try to guess what we will be learning about. Continue with different members of the family removing a piece until the picture has been uncovered.
Use the scripture role play activity to help everyone learn the story of Abinadi. It may be helpful to let everyone practice their reading parts before acting it out.
After the role play have each member of the family say something they learned about the story. Then complete the 10 commandment matching activity.
